Husband

Today we were at playgroup and Anya was playing outside (but within earshot of me) with one of her friends, Emma.

Emma went inside her princess castle and said, "Anya, I'll stay inside with my husband."
To which Anya replied, "Let's pretend your husband is a girl."

I could brag about how accepting we are raising our children to be, but really it's probably just a simple matter that she probably has no clue what the word "husband" means. I still thought it was kinda neat, all the same.
