the wisdom of anya
i don't often remember or document the exact things anya says, but today i did.
at lunch i finished off a little ziploc bag of crackers and threw the bag in the trash. anya gave me a puzzled/disgusted look and said, "why did you throw that bag away?" i wasn't exactly sure what was behind the question, so i started with the obvious answer, "because the crackers were all gone." she replied, "but why did you throw it away? you really should just wash it out and use it again. next time you should remember to do that."
and then later she looked at evan who is wearing a gray knit polo shirt. anya said, "evan looks funny today in that gray shirt. he looks like my daddy."

Looks like you're raising a "green" little girl - that is AWESOME! Oh, and I always thought my little brother looked funny :-)
Oh no - she is turning into her grandmother's granddaughter! (in reference to reusing the bag)
Grandpa Troyer
Yeah, I guess she gets influences from both sides - I was going to say she's like Grandma Frances! :)
