Quick sick update

I am happy to report that yesterday was the first day that Evan did not throw up. Of course, I was still carrying around towels and not letting him eat very much, but he was in much better shape. Today was even better and he was acting a lot more normal - actually crawling around and pulling up on stuff. It's funny how lazy we got in a week of him not being mobile. We had stuff all over the place that wasn't "Evan-proof" anymore.

The poor little guy has lost weight after a week of not eating and barely getting much to drink either. He probably doesn't look different to anyone else, but to Steve and me he just looks and especially feels so skinny. He is also still super cuddly and spent the majority of the day on my lap with his head against my chest.

Here's a picture of him from Sunday after I wrote the long blog post. He was so tired, but wanted to play and then just fell asleep with the rings in his hands.



Today, I think he was trying to tell me that it was okay to feed him a little more because he climbed into the refrigerator for the first time. I had to take a picture to document how much better he is doing, but also because we have such a similar pose of Anya from when she was about 11 months old. First one is Evan, second one is Anya.
