belated cake update

I never posted this photo of my birthday cake after we tried to salvage part of it to frost and put on candles. Please note that you are not looking at a shot of the cake after we ate part of it. This is the whole thing! It was still tasty. And yes, I really did turn 30, not 9 as the candles would indicate.

Also, Evan got a huge advantage of having a birthday coming up the month after mine. He got to try my cake early and absolutely loved it.
