Today we let the kids stay home. UPS does not call off school for the super cold temperatures because they do not have students who walk or ride the bus to school. This is great because we may get out earlier in the summer than most area schools but at the time it's happening it feels unfair to have to go to school when everyone else gets to stay home. So, we took our own day to be cozy and also recover from a cold the kids all have. We made waffles for breakfast, played, read books and watched some TV. It was a nice and cozy day at home. Here we are eating our "movie night" food for lunch while watching recorded figure skating.

I love this! And this totally reminds me to tell you to seek out the ESPN 30 for 30 special documentary, "The Price of Gold" - about Tonya Harding and Nancy Kerrigan! Brought back so many memories! Crazytown.
