Some days there is a welcome peace. in the house.  On these days, Anya and Evan are friends.  It is as if the nicest versions of themselves emerge and they meet as old friends who have been apart for a long time, coming together with joy and companionship.  These pictures were taken later in the afternoon when they sat scrunched into this chair together.  Nobody argued about who got to hold the iPad.  Nobody complained about the other one not giving them enough space.  Peace.  Friendship.  Love.  Gratitude.
