Somewhere along the line, we began celebrating half birthdays. It is kinda fun to have an extra special day with cupcakes, so why not? No presents, just fun and sugar. This was for Anya's 5.5 birthday, although the actual day happened while we were in Colorado. Oops. Major disappointment when I realized and told Anya that we had missed it. So, we celebrated it on July 27th instead. And don't you dare call it her "pretend" or "fake" half birthday...it was the REAL thing. Anya helped me pick out the photos to post.
