Today I drove groups of preschoolers to Krannert Art Museum to work on building their bower bird nests with another mom who is an artist and happens to also be named Lara.
And for some reason, this random photo on my camera makes me smile and sums up a lot of my life. Dirty dishes in the sink, art projects needing cleaning up, plants from various sources: flower from Mother's Day, radishes planted at church, plants from the building fair, green onions rooting in water and some random rocks that came home in somebody's pocket.
